Newton Police Chief Michael Richards has retired. This week he had his final "walkout." (

"I always wanted babpipes at my funeral," Michael Richards said as he took his ceremonial walk into retirement as Newton Police Chief. Newton Police including the new acting Chief Robert Osborn and Sparta Chief Neil Spidaletto attended.
Richards will serve the public in a new role at the Sussex County Fairgrounds.
