I applaud the Township Journal for their special insert publishing children in our local schools using their creative minds to create ads for local businesses.
Some 35 years ago, when I worked in the advertising department of the Suburban Trends newspaper in Butler, we did a similar supplement with local grammar schools in our circulation area, and it was very popular for all involved.
The children loved it, teachers loved it, parents loved it, advertisers loved it, and even for us in the advertising department, we loved it.
Please make this an annual feature. It’s a Win, Win, Win, Win feature.
