Roxbury defeated Newton, 54-35, on Friday, Dec. 29. The game was part of the Newton Holiday Tournament.
Maxwell Maslowski scored a game high of 19 points for the Braves.
Newton, which hosted the tournament, also lost to Sparta, 65-45, on Wednesday, Dec. 27.
The Spartans won the tournament with a 48-43 victory over Warren Hills in the championship game Dec. 29.
