Reverend Brown School holds science fair

Sparta — Reverend Brown School in Sparta recently held a Science Fair, organized by science teachers, Kelly Foster and Carol Hauge, All students in the seventh and eighth grades displayed their scientific knowledge and competed for prizes. Lisa Spillane, a vice president from First Hope Bank, awarded savings bonds to the first, second and third place winners. Students in grades K-6 participated in special group science experiments and demonstrations. and an evening event was held for families to see the projects and award winners. First Place winners were John Koenig and Nina Poccia. Second Place winners were Mike Liegel nd Zack Matl, Third Place winners were Rob Coughlin and Garrett Galaida. Honorable Mentions went to: Kelsey Steele, Ryan Opiekun, Theresa Bunger and Harrison West.
