Renee Tripp, 73, of Newton, pleaded guilty to assault by Auto, a crime of the third degree, two counts of cisorderly persons, assault by auto and motor vehicle summons driving while intoxicated.
She was sentenced on her driving while intoxicated charge to seven months loss of her driver’s license, she must complete twelve hours IDRC, have mandatory interlock on her vehicle and pay $1430 in fines and fees.
Sentencing is presently scheduled on her other charges for March 6.
The defendant admitted she had cocktails with her dinner and then drove intoxicated, resulting in a multi-vehicle accident with injuries.
Josue Jimenez-Guillen, 21 of Netcong, pleaded guilty to joyriding, a fourth degree crime.
Sentencing is presently anticipated for March 6, 2020.
In pleading guilty, the defendant admitted to taking an individual’s motor vehicle without consent on Nov. 7, 2019, in Stanhope.
The case was investigated by Detective Joseph Johnson and officers of the Stanhope Borough Police Department.
Christopher Rocco, 35 of Newton, plead guilty to eluding, a third-degree crime, and driving while intoxicated, a motor vehicle offense.
Sentencing is presently anticipated for March 6.
In pleading guilty, the defendant admitted to driving under the influence and attempting to elude a New Jersey State Police trooper on May 8, 2016, in Fredon Township,

Jan. 24
Shayne D. Divito, 23, of Wantage, was sentenced to three years in New Jersey State Prison. He must also pay $780 in court fines and fees and $880 in restitution to the victim(s).
He pleaded guilty on Aug. 19, 2019, to three counts third-degree burglary, two counts of third-degree theft, one count of fourth-degree theft and a violation of probation on a previous matter.
In 2019, the defendant broke into several homes and vehicles, throughout Sussex County, taking various items including jewelry and money. He also was caught sneaking drugs in to the Keogh-Dwyer Correctional Facility.
Jan. 22
Sky McDonough, 28, of Milford, Pa., pleaded guilty to burglary, a crime of the third degree.
Sentencing is presently scheduled for March 6.
The defendant admitted he entered a private residence in Wantage, taking various items from the home.
Jan. 21
Vincent Scardino, Jr., 49, of Newton pleaded guilty to driving while suspended for a second or subsequent DWI, a crime of the fourth-degree and a disorderly persons charge of Obstruction.
Sentencing is presently scheduled for February 28, 2020.
The defendant admitted when he was stopped by Newton police for a motor vehicle violation he was driving with a suspended license for a second or subsequent DWI. He also admitted to failing to appear for several Court ordered appearances.
Ryan J. Platt. 21, of Highland Lakes, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled dangerous substance, a crime of the third degree. Sentencing is presently scheduled for Feb. 14, 2020.
The defendant admitted he was in possession of cocaine when questioned by New Jersey state police when they responded to a report of an erratic driver and things being thrown out of a vehicle window.
