Driver killed in crash
ANDOVER TWP. Resident Joseph Luchetti died after he was ejected from a motor vehicle, police say.

Joseph Luchetti of Andover Township died after he was ejected from a motor vehicle May 31, police said. He was 60.
Officers responded to a motor vehicle accident about 8:45 p.m. They found the only occupant of the vehicle in a wooded area.
Members of Newton EMS began treating him for his injuries and took him to a nearby landing zone but he was pronounced dead.
Police said Luchetti was driving a 1963 Pontiac on Yates Avenue, then veered off the road into a culvert.
Members of the Andover Township Fire Department and Police Department searched the area for additional occupants, then confirmed that Luchetti was the sole occupant.
The road remained closed for repairs to a utility pole that was struck during the crash.
The accident remains under investigation by Andover Township police.
According to his obituary, Luchetti graduated from Newton High School in 1981, then spent 40 years as the sole proprietor of Joe Veg Wholesale Fruit & Vegetables. He was buyer at Hunts Point market in the Bronx for more than 30 years.
2 hurt in Frankford accident
One person was airlifted to a hospital and another was taken by ambulance to a hospital after a two-car accident about 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 5, according to the Frankford Township Fire Department.
The department was dispatched with Branchville Hose Company #1 and Blue Ridge Rescue Squad to Morris Turnpike and Kemah Lake Road for an accident with a reported entrapment.
Two firefighters arrived shortly after and confirmed that one person was trapped. First-responders arrived and called Atlantic Air Ambulance Air 3 to a landing zone at Skylands Park.
Firefighters worked for about 20 minutes to free the person, who then was taken to the landing zone and flown to a hospital. Blue Ridge Rescue Squad took a second person to a local hospital for further treatment.
