Local realtor joins hurricane relief effort

    SPARTA - The Sparta office of Weichert Realtors joined with other local companies and institutions to deliver relief supplies to victims of Hurrican Katrina. Others who took part in the eeffort were Reinauer Transportation Companies, Raymond of New Jersey, the Sparta Presbyterian Church, the Alpine Montessori School, Sparta Little League, and Package & Wrap of Sparta. Duffy Brennan, broker/sales associate in Weichert’s Sparta office, volunteered to drive a truck, donated by Raymond of New Jersey to carry the relief supplies. Weichert’s Sparta office paid for fuel for the trip. Relief supplies included clothing, bedding and other household goods. Weichert employees participated in the drive as part of the company’s community service outreach program to give sales associates and staff an opportunity to participate in community events.
