Vince-Cruz earns Eagle rank
NEWTON. For his Eagle Project, he constructed an information kiosk at the Huntsville Burial Ground in Green Township.
Chase Vince-Cruz is the newest Eagle Scout in Troop 85.
While in Troop 85, he has earned: 37 merit badges and the National Outdoor Award for Camping.
He has accumulated 50 nights of camping and has held the following leadership positions: patrol leader, assistant senior patrol leader and troop guide.
He also is a member of Woapalanne Lodge 43 of the Order of the Arrow, Scouting’s honor society.
For his Eagle Project, Chase constructed an information kiosk at the Huntsville Burial Ground in Green Township.
He is a sophomore at Newton High School, where he is a member of Future Farmers of America and Future Business Leaders of America and plays soccer and track.
He also plays soccer on the national level for STA.
He is testing for his black belt in Isshinryu karate.
