The Oreo cookie turns 100

BYRAM — The ShopRite of Byram celebrated the 100th Anniversary of the renowned Oreo cookie by building the largest display in New Jersey, featuring over 2,500 cases - or 30,000 packages - of Oreo cookies. The display was assembled to duplicate a birthday cake, including candles, for shoppers to enjoy. In addition, several in-store events commemorated the occasion from April 26-28. The celebration included Oreo stacking, Oreo icing-licking contests, costumed characters and games and prizes for the shoppers.
