FREDON — Students at the Fredon School recently met the Cat in The Hat, celebrated Dr. Seuss, and enjoyed reading when the famous feline stopped by for a visit. According to teacher Laurie Sanders, the students didn't know exactly who was going to appear and were surprised when the Cat in the Hat himself showed up in the middle of a reading of Green Eggs and Ham. After students collected themselves, they all took the National Education Association's Read Across America Reader's Oath. Students promised to read each day and each night because they "know it's the key to growing up right."
