Students Experiment with Straw Rockets

Newton — The seventh grade Kaleidoscope students at Kittatinny Regional High School recently explored the principles of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) experimenting with straw rockets. Kneeling in front, Thomas Hontz, Emily Logsdon, and Danny Shackleton get ready to launch "Needles," their straw rocket, while the other members of Kaleidoscope watch. Waiting for the results of the launch are Tiffanie Pereira, Kelly Insalaco, Samantha Givone, Makenna Conklin, Beth Mackey, Sarah Calderon, Caitlin Ward, Christina Ishiba, Annie Moore, Kalan Smith, Cassie Lomas, Cayla Gely and Marissa Kepnes.
