SPARTA — The Sussex County Charter School for Technology in Sparta recently held its' first-ever eighth grade formal dance.
Organized by volunteer parents, the event took place at the Frankford Plains United Methodist Church Hall. Donations of food, water, and decorations for the "Bright Lights, Big City" theme were collected from families of the students while the flowers were prepared by the Sussex County Technical School Landscaping Class and baked goods were prepared by Tech's culinary students.
Deejay, Mike Van Vliet, kept the 55 graduates in attendance dancing all night long while Shadow-spawn Photography took formal photos of the teens.
