Senior of the Year nominations sought

The Sussex County Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Senior Services is seeking nominations for the 2024 Sussex County Senior of the Year.
Nominees should be role models who support the community through volunteer efforts, supportive activities, and advocacy on behalf of older adults and issues affecting them.
Nominees must be residents of Sussex County and at least 60 years old.
Senior Day at the New Jersey State Fair will be from noon to 3 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 8 under the Performing Arts Tent. The award ceremony will take place at 1 p.m., and all nominees must be present.
Each nominee will be recognized there for their commitment to their community and their peers and the Sussex County Senior of the Year will be announced.

Nominations must be submitted by July 8.
