Scout Freeze-O-Ree: Skating on March 17

    On Sunday, March 17, the Cub Scouts of Sussex county invite all boys and girls to the Freeze-O-Ree at Skylands Ice World in Stockholm.
    The Freeze-O-Ree will include open ice skating and skate rental from noon until 1 p.m.
    Then, from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. there will be broom hockey, archery, cubmobile, fishing games, STEM project, mini-golf and horse shoes.
    Register at www.scoutingevent.com/358-SFOR by March 15. Cost is $10 per skater.
    Families who are not yet in Cub Scouts will receive information on the pack nearest them. Cub Scouts is for boys and girls in kindergarten through 5th grade. Younger and older siblings are welcome to participate in the Freeze-O-Ree. While some packs remain boy-only, many of packs now include girls in all-girl dens. But everyone has the same Cub Scout program of Pinewood Derbies, campouts, rockets, archery, service projects, etc. Skylands Ice World is at 2765 Route 23 in Stockholm.
