| 20 Aug 2013 | 03:20

Students representing several university campuses in the tri-state area, participated in RoNetco’s 10-week paid summer internship experience.

Entitled Learn and Earn, Grow and Lead, these college seniors were assigned to one of seven ShopRite supermarkets owned and operated by RoNetco.

Students gained practical experience in a high volume, production oriented, customer driven retail environment.

They partnered with store management, associates and customers to learn what it takes to manage a highly successful supermarket in a very competitive marketplace.

Charged with the task of process improvement, interns conducted research, employed decision-making and problem solving skills and coordinated procedures to benefit the customer experience. The program culminated with individual presentations to the management teams of their findings with recommendations for consideration.

This is RoNetco’s third annual summer internship program. I

nterested students must have completed their junior year in college by June 1. Applicants should send a letter of interest and resume to Christine Foster the Program Coordinator at Christine.foster@wakefern.com.
