Lenape Valley Regional High School will receive a $50,000 grant from T-Mobile to renovate the school auditorium.
The renovation will include updates to the sound system and stage area.
“Lenape Valley feels truly blessed to have such a generous and progressive partner in T-Mobile,” said Superintendent Mike Rossi.
“Our auditorium is a centerpiece of our school and activity hub for all stakeholders. The grant will enable us to make critically important improvements.”
A check presentation is planned during the school’s homecoming football game at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 27.
Stanhope is the eighth town in New Jersey to be awarded a T-Mobile Hometown Grant since the program launched in 2021. T-Mobile has awarded more than $250,000 to New Jersey towns, including Bound Brook, Burlington, Dover and Hillsborough.
Hometown Grants are the company’s way of giving people in small towns and rural communities a chance to transform the places they call home. Through community development initiatives, T-Mobile aims to create a stronger and more resilient future for communities nationwide.
