Lenape girl's softball blanks N. Warren

STANHOPE — The Lenape Valley Patriots beat the North Warren Regional Patriots, of Blairstown, in high school varsity softball on Saturday, May 10.

The final score was 5-0. The NJAC Freedom Division game was played at Lenape Valley Regional High School in Stanhope.

Lenape's pitcher Kaela Romano pitched a four-hit shutout, striking out eight and walking none.

Teammate Rachel Breuinger went 1-for-3 with a double, two RBI's and a run scored.

North Warren's Megan Stevens hit a triple but neither she or her teammates were able to score a run.
