The Lenape Blazers won the spring championship in the Northwest Jersey Travel Softball League.
The Lenape Blazers, a 14U fast-pitch travel team, defeated No. 1 seed Randolph, 9-5, to win the spring championship in the Northwest Jersey Travel Softball League.
This is the first title for the team, which is based in Byram Township.
Players are Michaela Dennehy, Hope Catalano, Jessica Moran, Tori Meyers, Zoey Rosario, Bliss Henry, Alaina Mancuso, Aubrey Sawler, Beth Kamaris, Valentina LaMorte, Laina Powers and Madison Kraley.
Michael Dennehy is the head coach. He is assisted by coaches Stephen Catalano, Frank Moran, John Powers, Joe LaMorte, Jim Kraley, Mike Henry and Omar Rosario. The bench coaches are Sandy Meyers and Jean Moran.
