Kittatinny Regional High School senior Yuki Wykoff was nominated to attend the prestigious Governor’s School of Engineering and Technology program at Rutgers University.

Students from every school in New Jersey are nominated and must submit an application, but only 72 students were selected for the special summer program.

During the program, Wykoff worked with a group of students on a research project titled, “Application of Nanoimprint Lithography to Conducting Polymers for Infrared Photonics.”

Her research group submitted their work to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) for publication. Not only is MIT publishing their work, but Wykoff will be going to the annual IEEE MIT Undergraduate Research Technology Conference in October to present the research.
