Kindergarten registration under way for Hampton Twp. school

Registration for kindergarten in the Hampton Township School District is open for the 2023-24 school year.

Children must be 5 years old on or before Oct. 1, 2023.

Registration packets may be picked up in the office at Marian Emmons McKeown School, 1 School Road, Newton, or downloaded online at www.mckeown.org under the Students & Parents tab.

An original birth certificate and three proofs of residency are required for registration. Preferred items are a tax bill, deed or rental agreement; two bills or one bill; and a driver’s license.

Immunization and physical records will be needed before school starts in September.
