Katie’s House Friendship Group and Circle of Friends recently spent three days and two nights at the Great Divide Campground in Green Township to experience camping.
“What a great adventure for our group, especially for those who were first-time campers,” said Evelyn Dudziec, executive director of Katie’s House, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing homes and activities for adults with disabilities.
The owners of the campground were wonderful hosts to the group of 38 people, Dudziec said.
“The cabins were very comfortable and equipped with everything needed. There were so many activities to enjoy. I can’t thank the campground owners enough for all they did to make this experience so memorable and fun.”
The Great Divide Campground is at 68 Phillips Road, Newton.
