Junior high students volunteer at food pantry

From left, Nora O’Keefe, Molly Riva and Kathryn Zaremba, members of the Kittatinny Regional High School Junior High School student council, recently volunteered their time, along with other junior high students, to learn about and assist the food pantry operated by the county Division of Social Services. Every year, Kittatinny participates in several food drive campaigns. The students went to learn: how the food pantry collects, sorts and distributes the food; how the food bank supports local families; and why KRHS' annual contributions are vital to these organizations.
