Cody-Tully Kimberly Gaffney Tully and Major Clinton Richard Cody were married May 7, 2011, at The Cadet Chapel in West Point, New York. The Rev. Edson Wood, a Roman Catholic priest, performed the ceremony. Captain Michael Tully, brother of the bride, was the man of honor. Mrs. Danielle Bennett, Mrs. Mary Cunningham, Mrs. Kara Merriam, Mrs. Tunde Kent and Miss Daria Dressler, cousin of the bride, were the bridesmaids. Major Tyler Cody, brother of the groom, was the best man. Major Matthew Wolfe, Major Scott Greco and Mr. Luke Accardo were the groomsmen. Master Austin Cody, the groom's nephew, was the ringbearer. A reception followed in the Grand Ballrooom at Eisenhower Hall at West Point. The couple honeymooned in Italy and currently reside in Newport, Rhode Island. The bride is the daughter of Michael and Susan Tully of Hampton. She is a 1998 graduate of Kittatinny Regional High School and a 2003 graduate of The United States Military Academy at West Point. She served in the Army Corps of Engineers from 2003 to 2009, achieving the rank of Captain, with the 101st Airborne Division at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. She served two tours in Iraq, from 2003 to 2004 and from 2007 to 2009. She was employed as a marketing and sales manager with Defencell Force Protection Systems in Nashville, Tennessee, from 2009 to 2011. The groom is the son of former Vice Chief of Staff of The United States Army, General (R) Richard A. Cody and Vicki Cody of McLean, Virginia. Major Cody is a 1995 graduate of Killeen High School in Killeen, Texas, and a 1999 graduate of Texas A & M University, College Station, Texas. He is an attack helicopter pilot and has served six tours in Iraq and four tours in Afghanistan. Upon meeting for the first time, the bride and groom learned that they both had taken command of their respective companies on the very same day, October 27, 2006 at Fort Campbell, Kentucky.
