Hampton crowns new prince, princess
HAMPTON. Five-year-old Thomas Schulman and seven-year old Braelyn Kelly were crowned during Hampton Day on June 11.
The Township of Hampton recently celebrated Hampton Day on Saturday, June 11. The day was filled with a variety of entertainment, including various vendors, jump house activities, food trucks, fireworks and the Little Prince and Princess of Hampton 2022 pageant! This was the first time the contest was held since the COVID-19 pandemic began.
The Crowned Prince of 2022 was Thomas Schulman, age 5, the son of Brian and Kristen Schulman. He was crowned by 2019’s Prince Hawkon Swisshelm.
When Schulman was asked by the Master of Ceremonies what he wanted to be when he grew up, he replied, “I probably want be a police officer or a fireman.”
The Crowned Princess of 2022 was Braelyn Kelly, age 7, daughter of Jason and Liza Kelly, jointly crowned by Miss Hampton 2021 Autumn Kilduff and Miss Hampton 2022 Ashley Pavick.
When Kelly was asked by the Master of Ceremonies what she wanted to be when she grew up, she replied, “I want to either be a veterinarian or a scientist.”
