Green Hills win Battle of the Books

GREEN — Green Hills School eighth-graders Jordan Wood, Ashley Peirano, Sarah Hosler and Carly Leifken took first place in the annual Battle of the Books competition held at North Warren Regional School. The competition involved students competing in a quiz based on 10 books they were previously assigned to read. This year, 21 teams from area schools competed. The first round of competition consisted of 30 questions worth five points each. The three teams that scored the highest moved on to the second and final round of the competition which asked an additional 30 questions. The team that scored the highest and took first place? Green Hills School.
