Free NIA classes at Breathing Room Center

NIA (Neuromuscular Integrative Action) is a non-impact, holistic practice that draws from dance, healing and martial arts and uses the body’s way to uniquely move safely and without pain. Participants will gain physical strength, mental and emotionally agility — all while having fun.

This sensory-based movement practice leads to health, wellness and fitness. It empowers people of all shapes and sizes by connecting the body, mind, emotions and spirit. Classes are taken barefoot to music, using both structured and free-form movements, as well as sounding and vocalization to release tension and make everyone smile.

To get you acquainted with this practice, Breathing Room Center (735 Rt 94, Frelinghuysen) is offering a free first class Thursday evenings from 7 to 8 p.m.

Led by experienced instructor, Alina Taubman, Nia White Belt. For more information, contact niaalina@aol.com or visit www.breathingroomcenter.com.
