Dining and learning at Andre's

— Andre's Lakeside Dining and Catering will be hosting 5 classes in October. They are sure to be fun nights out for couples and friends alike. Sunday October 2 kicks off the classes with a cooking class/demonstration taught by Chef Andre deWaal. "An Apple a Day..." is the theme. Collaborating with Windy Brow Orchard in Newton, Andre plans on teaching a wonderful 3 course menu all based on apples. The class will take place at 112 Tomahawk Trail in Sparta and seating is limited. The cost is $45. Class starts at 1 p.m. The other 4 classes will be on Thursday nights at 6:30 p.m. also at Andre's in Sparta. Each of the Thursday classes will feature a different teacher and Andre's hors d'oeuvres for your culinary pleasure. You are welcome to bring your own wine or beer or purchase from Andre's selection of Alba Wines. October 6, Paint & Sip- learn to paint the beautiful fall lake scene from Andre's patio with "2 Broads with Brushes." October 13, Make a beautiful fall centerpiece with Jodie Bross of Glenwild Garden Center. October 20, Learn to take better portraits with local photographer Rob Yaskovic. October 27, Paint a fun pumpkin with Liz Dwyer. Reservations in advance are required as seating is limited.
