In honor of the Girl Scouts of the USA’s birthday March 12, Daisy Troop 99016 collected items for girls due to be born on that day.
The project was supported by the Zeta Kappa chapter of Tri-Sigma at Montclair State University.
During the previous few weeks, the troop gathered a variety of baby essentials, such as clothes, blankets and diapers, to create three gift baskets for newborn girls.
On March 10, the girls, accompanied by their troop leaders, delivered the baskets to Newton Medical Center.
The Zeta Kappa chapter assisted with the collection and organization of the donated items.
