Byram Shoprite welcomes new executive chef

Dominick J. Romano, Vice President & C.O.O. of RoNetco Supermarkets, announces the addition of Christopher Corvasce to the management team.

A graduate of The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park N.Y., Corvasce holds a Bachelor’s Degree of professional studies, culinary arts management and brings experience in the areas of cuisine preparation, recipe design and implementation, cooking and kitchen techniques, and working with a variety of natural and organic ingredients.

As an Executive Chef, he will be responsible for menu planning, educating others and refining the food service operations to include more high-quality, fresh food menu selections. Assigned to the ShopRite of Byram, Corvasce has been featuring a variety of hot and cold cuisines at the recently installed self-service food stations in the appetizing department. The bar includes traditional lunch and dinner favorites, along with a medley of new and tasty gourmet dishes.

Corvasce and his wife are residents of Mt. Bethel, Pa.
