Participants start the second annual Branchville 5K, which began and ended at Selective Insurance Co. on Sept. 10. The race and a children’s fun run raised $12,670 for Benny’s Bodega in Newton. The event was organized by the Fund Racing Alliance, a local nonprofit that hosts athletic events to raise money for organizations that provide fundamental services to the community.
