Lenape Valley raises money for hospital

Lenape Valley Regional High School raised more than $3,500 to benefit Saint Jude's Hospital for children with cancer during a Walkathon for Make a Difference Weekend. Chairpersons Heather Boralsky, Charles Simon, Marc Lindner and Stephanie Ly said 179 students, 57 of them seniors, obtained sponsors to raise money for the second consecutive year. Freshman Ryan Mortensen was the overall leader, totaling $150 in donations; the freshman football team under coach Peter Corea raised more than $800.
