Stanhope Seniors' Thanksgiving lunch to be held on Nov 21
A&E. Stanhope area residents who are age 55 or older are invited to a free Thanksgiving lunch at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 21 with the Stanhope Borough Senior Citizens Club.

The Stanhope Borough Senior Citizens Club cordially is holding a Thanksgiving lunch from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 21, 2019. The event is free and is intended for those who are age 55 or over and who reside in Stanhope or a surrounding community.
The meeting will be held at the American Legion Post #278, 119 Route 183/206N, Stanhope. The business meeting begins at noon. Guest speaker's are Sheriff's Department Officers presenting, "Active Shooter Civilian Response." Stay afterwards for Bingo. Membership dues are $15 per person, annually. If joining now, the Holiday Party at Portofino Family Restaurant cost is $15 per person; non-members are $25 per person. Visitors are always welcome.
