NJ Devils Alumni play for Beautiful People

    STOCKHOLM — The Monarchs will host a fundraiser to benefit Beautiful People at noon on Saturday, March 24, at Skylands Ice World, 2765 Route 23, Stockholm. Bruce Driver's New Jersey Devils Alumni team will take on the two-time, defending adult league champions, X, in a charity game to benefit Beautiful People, which builds bridges between disabled children and their families and the community by providing adaptive sports for children ages 5 to 18. Alumni include Bruce Driver, Ken Daneyko, Grant Marshall, Tom Chorske, Rob Skrlac, Brian Mullen and others. The Monarchs is a Sussex County-based initiative to enable participation in organized youth sports programs with a focus on teamwork, sportsmanship and fair play through scholarships, access to facilities and equipment, player and coaching development and mentoring. Tickets are $5. Kids 12 and under will be admitted free.
