On Thursday and Friday of last week, Vernon's Glen Meadow Middle School held its annual Team Adventure, a project designed to welcome the seventh-grade students to the school community by providing opportunities to interact with other students and adults in an exciting, positive and supportive atmosphere. Different colored bandanas were given to the students to wear as a symbol of their willingness to work within a team while they participated in an overhead rope course, mural-making, gardening, cooking, anti-bullying activities and many other activities that foster team-building. During the course of Team Adventure, all of the seventh grade students were encouraged to participate in various activities.
