Day trip to Atlantic City will include a salute to soldiers

WEST MILFORD-On Thursday, Nov. 10, seniors are invited to join West Milford Parks and Recreation's Office of Older Adult Services on a trip to Atlantic City. "Live at the Copa," at the Sands Casino and Hotel, will include bus transportation, lunch, a show, and $15 in slot dollars. The cost of the trip is $45. The bus will leave at 8 a.m. from Hillcrest Community Center at 1810 Macopin Rd. in West Milford, and return at 8 p.m. The show, "A Salute to Our Soldiers," will begin at 1:30 p.m. It is a reminiscence of the Andrew Sisters, a sentimental journey back to a nostalgic 1940's USO show. People are encouraged to sign up early, as seating is limited. Payment is requested upon registration. The deadline to register is Oct. 1.
