Crista Orefice to play Sunday brunch at Salt
BYRAM The Crista Orefice Trio will be on the stage at Salt Gastropub in Byram on Sunday, April 1, from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., during Sunday brunch. The trio will be playing several unique sets of original songs and cover tunes. Headed by classically trained singer/songwriter Crista Orefice (also on guitar, keyboard, autoharp, charango), the trio offers a crossover style into which Orefice integrates her lyric soprano voice into pop, folk, and opera-like realms. Musical influences range from classical, Broadway, celtic, folk and pop genres. Orefice received a bachelor's of music in vocal performance and a master's degree in music therapy from Montclair State University. Orefice has performed in numerous concerts and musical productions at venues in both New Jersey and New York, and is currently a music therapist at the Older Adult Unit at Carrier Clinic in Belle Mead. Orefice will be sharing the stage with David Hilton (bass, cello, guitar) and Jason Clark (percussion and drums). For more information or to make a reservation, call Salt Gastropub at 973-347-7258.
