Chuckles, laughter, and guffaws

Join Stanhope House on Saturday, May 25, for a night of chuckles, laughter, and guffaws, as four comics come together in one golden lineup.
“The Dirty Jersey Boy,” E.C. Winkler, has been seen on “Conan,” Nat Geo Network, and major clubs throughout the region. Debbie Bazza has performed up and down the East Coast and appeared on national television. Helaine Witt’s career has taken her before the camera and behind the scenes, including appearances on the Wendy Williams Show and as a writer from whom headliners like Joan Rivers got their jokes. Kathryn Holmes is a winner of the Ladies of Laughter, Jersey’s Funniest Working Woman Contest, and has performed in the tri-state’s top clubs.
Local comedienne “Athena” will act the “Mistress of Ceremonies.” High energy with clean humor, Athena has performed with top regional acts that include Uncle Floyd, Rich Vos, and Mike Marino.
Tickets to see Comedy in the Cabaret are $10 in advance or $12 cash at the door. A $10 food and beverage minimum will also be collected at the door.
The Stanhope House, located at 45 Main Sts., in Stanhope, offers entertainment several days a week, from comedy to blues to tribute and heavy metal bands.
