Julia (judy) Katherine Beebe

Judy K. Beebe of Sparta, NJ died peacefully at home on June 30, 2017. She was born in Jamaica, Queens on June 12, 1929 to Kenneth and Julia Garland. She was 88 years old.
Judy lived in Sparta for the past 53 years. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years Joseph R. Beebe. She is also survived by 5 children and their spouses: Judith Zoeller (Geoffrey), Joseph P. Beebe (Nancy), John Paul Beebe (Erika), James Beebe (Kelly), Jeffrey Beebe (Charlene) as well as 11 grandchildren: Catherine Bell, Samantha Bell, as well as Stephanie, Amanda, Ryan, Erin, Dylan, Jenna, Grace, Michael Beebe, and Trent Lupo. Judy was predeceased by her parents and her brother Peter Garland.
In her early years, Judy attended Katharine Gibbs College in NYC and worked in the city until she married her Joe on June 5, 1954. She also worked for a number of years at the Engle School in Sparta, NJ.
Judy devoted most of her life to her family and friends. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Lake Church in Sparta, NJ. She was also an active volunteer at Rev. Brown School and Pope John XXIII High School for many years.
Friends may call Thursday, July 6, 2017, from 2-5pm at the Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main St, Sparta, NJ 07871. A funeral mass will be held 10am Friday at Our Lady of the Lake Church, 294 Sparta Ave, Sparta, NJ. Interment will follow at Sparta Cemetery.
