STILLWATER — Yolanda Nodarse, 12, of Stillwater, came in third with an overall score of 37.5 at the 2012 USA Gymnastics Level 7 State Competition.
Her team, from North Stars Gymnastics, placed fifth overall.
Nodarse placed third on the bars with a score of 9.65 and first on beam with a score of 9.55. However, the uneven bars is where Nodarse excelled with a season-high score of 9.725. She scored a 9.55 in floor competition.
The NJ State Competition was held at Rutgers University on March 31.
